As people prepare to file their 2021 taxes, accounting student volunteers at Creighton University, a Lukas Partners client, will provide their expertise and offer free tax preparation services in February and March to qualifying individuals and students through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. VITA clinics are an IRS initiative that Creighton has participated in the Omaha community for more than 40 years.
Now through March 26, students will offer five in-person Saturday clinics from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Mike & Josie Harper Center on the Creighton campus. Virtual meetings via Zoom also will be offered.
