Public Relations Account Executive


Lukas Partners, a full-service public relations and fund development firm based in Omaha, is seeking a dependable professional to assist with the management and execution of public relations programs for our growing corporate and nonprofit client base, as well as provide communications and production support for our fund development clients.

This is a full-time, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. salaried position based in our Omaha office.  We are considering applications from candidates who possess the following:

  • 1-4 years of hands-on public relations and/or media relations experience in a corporate, nonprofit or other closely-related professional capacity is strongly preferred; recent college graduates with relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Working knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms, particularly in a business setting.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced, results- and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Superior AP-style writing skills, organizational abilities and effective presentation delivery.

  • Ability to effectively and comfortably deal with all organizational levels, including senior and executive management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. 

  • Basic working knowledge of graphic design programs (such as Canva) and online video editing software would be a plus.


Occasional overtime and/or travel may be required, based on client needs.  Applicants must have access to reliable transportation.  All travel expenses will be reimbursed, including mileage.
