This holiday season, Lukas Partners client UScellular gave back to the local community by donating needed items to various nonprofits.
These contributions were among 40 “Gift of Connection” nonprofit donations to organizations across the country in honor of UScellular’s 40th anniversary. The company helped organizations that bring people and communities together to enjoy genuine connections through arts, music, sports and food with needed supplies.
Lukas Partners assisted UScellular with seven events in Nebraska (Lincoln and North Platte) and Iowa (Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Des Moines, Sioux City and Waterloo). UScellular donated $8,000 worth of sports equipment Dec. 8 to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor’s mission to provide year-round youth development programs to school age children in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Marion.
Iowa redshirt senior quarterback Cade McNamara assisted UScellular with the donation. McNamara also answered questions from and played catch with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor members.
This is the third straight year UScellular has coordinated a holiday giving program to benefit nonprofits. It was a privilege and honor to assist UScellular with these various kindness acts.
