Outlook Nebraska Rolls Out Cool Product for Statewide Contest

Our valued Lukas Partners PR client Outlook Nebraska is among the 16 finalists in the third annual Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska contest.

Outlook Nebraska, the sole toilet paper manufacturer in Nebraska, is the largest employer of the blind and visually impaired in Nebraska and a seven-state region. It is an Omaha not-for-profit with a global reach.

Outlook Nebraska associates produce 3.9 million rolls of toilet paper and paper towels each month and bottles an assortment of cleaners and disinfectants that are shipped worldwide.

While Outlook Nebraska proudly produces janitorial products that include toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies, it makes a difference by creating and sustaining rewarding careers for Americans who are blind or visually impaired. This is important because 70% of blind Americans are unemployed. The majority of Outlook’s manufacturing production team is legally blind.

Public voting for the top 16 products in the bracket-style competition continues through 11:59 p.m. Sept. 22 with advanced rounds to follow. Manufacturers, students and all Nebraskans are invited to vote for their favorite product manufactured in Nebraska each week through the beginning of October at nemanufacturingalliance.com.

There is information on the top 16 nominations at https://www.nemanufacturingalliance.com/top-16-nominees-2024.html.

The contest, hosted by the NE Manufacturing Alliance and powered by the NE Chamber, celebrates the state’s thriving manufacturing industry with Nebraska residents, students, educators, community leaders, manufacturers and especially, the more than 100,000 Nebraskans working in manufacturing every day.

Lukas Partners secured a Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska media placement for Outlook Nebraska on KETV (https://bit.ly/3TsbsWK).
